Outside Plant: Fiber/OPGW

Henkels & McCoy offers total engineering, design, layout, installation, service, and maintenance of fiber optic cable and support devices. Our capabilities include inside and outside plant construction for multi-mode LAN fiber systems as well as long-haul single mode systems and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW).
We offer complete solutions related to voice, Broadband, and high speed Internet access. We have successfully built fiber optic backbone supporting these services under one sheath.
Working with telecommunications companies, we have installed thousands of miles of fiber optic cable using our patented Railroad Mounted Cable Plow. This device has revolutionized the process of placing fiber along railroad rights-of-way, turning feet per day into miles per day. We also install All Dielectric Self Supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cable and OPGW.

 FYI
During the last half of the 1990s we installed
more than 10,000 route miles of long-haul
fiber optic cable for a variety of customers.
